I love it when there are pop culture references in old comics. Take this example from Amazing Spider-Man 203 (cover dated April 1980, but it would have been released December 1979):

Peter takes time out from fighting Lightmaster and Dazzler (yes!!), heading out to catch the Star Trek movie with Flash Thompson and Harry Osborn. And there's a Burger King nearby! There's been a lot of bitching lately about product placement in comics, but I love it. Call me a capitalist pig if you want.
